Use of fuel injection equipment with increased injection pressure for reducing environmental footprint

BACKGROUND: Environmental pollution causes a number of irreversible consequences, including those associated with climate warming, acid precipitation, deterioration climatic conditions and others. The problem reducing harmful emissions diesel engines containing in exhaust gases is currently relevant, as the implementation EURO 4/5/6 standards becoming increasingly difficult for both new automotive equipment already operation.
 AIMS: Reduction into atmosphere reduction environmental footprint by increasing fuel injection pressure cylinder.
 MATERIALS AND METHODS: 6Ch15/18 (7D6-150) engines, having nominal power 110 kW at 1500 min-1, specific effective consumption 224 g/(kWh) oil burn 0.32% intended generator units, were tested. During steady-state tests, collected to analyze their composition determine dispersion solid particles (SP) an increase tightening nozzle springs.
 RESULTS: It was revealed that springs (PI), decrease, efficiency increases. As result tests carried out, it found injectors from (PI increased 160 185 kPa), nitrogen oxides (NOx) decreased 15%, carbon monoxide (CO) hydrocarbons (CxHy) 54% 33%. Improved mixing better preparation combustion explain change CO PI increase. CxHy indicate significant improvement completeness cycle. Emissions are reduced due intensification air vapor, contributing more complete burn-off soot cylinder. meet EURO-3 EURO-4 standards. follows: NEF = 51.34 Сt/year kPa 43.66 kPa, which indicates decrease 1.17 times or 15%.
